Emergency Results Configuration

Polls on Digital Spy usually have the options Excellent (or Fantastic), Very Good, Good, Fair, Poor and Very Poor.

Occasionally the moderators miss out one of the options which means there are only 5 instead of 4. In these cases I have used what I call the Emergency Results Configuration. I use the top 2 options as Excellent and Very Good, with the bottom 2 options being Poor and Very Poor. The middle option is then split in two with half each going to Good and Fair. If there is an odd vote left I give it to Good.

The Adam Dilemma

Unfortunately no Digital Spy poll was given to Adam in Season 2. When it became clear that this was the case I set up a poll for the episode on the Slug Web Forum. As only 4 people voted it is hardly representative, but I have decided to included those meagre results for the sake of completeness. Other episodes around that time were particularly prone to missing options or late arrival.

Poll Still Open

The standard for Digital Spy polls used to be that they would open shortly after an episode aired and remained open for up to a week. More recently, however, they have often been left open-ended, hence the "Poll still open" note against them. I will endeavour to keep the results up to date, but occasionally they may fall behind. In reality after the first week or two there is very little change. The Outpost Gallifrey polls are always open.

Outpost Gallifrey = The Doctor Who Forum

Outpost Gallifrey ceased to exist some time ago, and split into the Doctor Who News Page and The Doctor Who Forum. The DW Forum continues the work of the OG Forums. References to Outpost Gallifrey persist throughout this site, and they are interchangeable one of the new sites, depending on the context. As far as I am aware all the old links still work. Please let me know if you come across one that doesn't.
